Specialty Classes with Additional Cost: * Boot Camp - with Bernice. Build strength, cardio and muscular endurance by combining military-style calisthenics and interval-cardio moves to keep you moving every single minute! This class will whip you into shape fast! Recommended for intermediate and advanced participants. (60 min.) Aqua BootCamp with Ronnie - SLIM DOWN WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT! Jump into the liquid machine and transform your body with Aquaboxing, Aquarunning drills, and butt blasting Kickboard work. Hit the pool deck for push ups, jumping rope, abs and lots more! (60 min.) Summer Step Fest - with Ronnie. Class Descriptions: Low & Tone (LT) - Increase your daily energy level with this easy-on-your-joints workout! This class is designed to improve your cardiovascular system, strength, flexibility, range of motion and ability to perform functional activities. Appropriate for seniors as well as those new to exercise. Cardio Funk (CF) - Add hip hop to your traditional low impact class! You will have so much fun you won't believe you're working out! All levels welcome. Beginner Kickboxing (BKB) - This class will teach you correct form for kicks and punches. It will also teach you how to use your core muscles to improve posture and relieve back pain. All levels welcome. Kickboxing (KB) - is high energy, explosive, exciting and motivating! It's a non-contact kickboxing workout that blends elements of boxing, martial arts and traditional aerobics. All levels welcome. Beginner Step (BST) - Learn the basics of Step Reebok techniques while incorporating muscle conditioning. All levels welcome. Step One (ST1) - Time to put your best skills to the test! You've learned the basic moves, now enjoy them in combinations with power moves! Soon you will be on your way to ST2. Recommended for intermediate to advanced participants. Step Two (ST2) - Suited for the experienced stepper. This powerful class includes creative combinations at a faster tempo. Recommended for advanced participants. Step Interval (SIT) - Boost your calorie burning power! Class format consists of ST2 alternating with intense bursts of 60 sec. interval activity followed by intervals of weight training. Recommended for advanced participants. Spinning (SPIN) - is a non impact, individually paced aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationery bicycle. As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor talks you through a visualization of a fun outdoor cycling workout! All levels welcome. Body Flex (BFX) - The perfect union of muscle and music. This weight training class consists of using variable weight plates to work through ten songs each dedicated to conditioning a major muscle group for five minutes. All levels welcome. Angles & Curves (A&C) - A power packed class that focuses on deep muscle strengthening using free weights, tubing, BFX bars, stability balls and your own body weight. All levels welcome. Pilates (PL) - Pilates is based on a set of mind-body principles that condition the body by emphasizing proper alignment, concentration, breathing and other criteria that demand mental and physical focus. The underlying principles of method include concentration, precision, control, breathing and flowing. All levels welcome. Jump Rope (JR) - Here's something fun and easy to follow. This is a total body workout that will burn up to 1000 calories in an hour. Just 10 minutes of this workout is equivalent to running a mile! *All instructors and classes subject to change |
